Who doesn’t love avo toast?
My body doesn’t always react well to bread, so I like to make this with Mestemacher Natural Fitness Bread, which has no preservatives and is made with only eight ingredients including whole rye, water, oat kernels and wheat germ. A single slice has double the fiber and one-third the sugar of traditional whole-grain bread.
Let’s get to the recipe, which I love for a quick lunch when you don’t have time to cook.
Mestemacher Natural Fitness Bread (always toast this if using)
Avocado (sliced)
Tomato
Arugula
Olive oil
Lemon slice
Chili Flakes
Salt & Pepp to taste
Directions:
- Toast bread
- Remove bread and add buttery spread
- Add cheese slice and place back into toaster oven to melt cheese
- In this order add the following: Avocado slices, tomato slices, arugula, 1 tsp olive oil drizzle, 1 lemon squeeze, chili flakes, then salt & pepp
- Enjoy! I also like to eat with hot sauce ๐
